Chip sage - Drums & vocals

As facile with a joke as with a killer drum fill, Chip Sage is an undeniable

presence. Scathingly funny and creative--he even builds his own drums--Chip

doesn't suffer fools gladly and indeed only begrudgingly agreed to be

interviewed (and even then only a small portion of it was fit to be printed).

INTERVIEWER: Give us a brief history--where are you originally from, and how

long have you been in music?

CHIP: I am from my parents and I have been in music for 30 minutes.

INTERVIEWER: Do you have any hobbies?

CHIP: Rubber duckies. Loafing.

INTERVIEWER: What's your sign?

CHIP:  No U-Turn. Stop.

INTERVIEWER: If you ruled the world, what new law would you enact?

CHIP: I would ban the 8-hour workday.

INTERVIEWER: List all the musical instruments you play:

CHIP:  None--drums are not a musical instrument. (Question: What do you call

a guy that hangs out with  musicians?          Answer: A drummer.)
